A convicted felon, who obtained more than a dozen guns from other states to sell in New Jersey, has been sentenced to 57 months in prison, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

Floyd Henry, aka “HK,” 36, of Paterson, previously pleaded guilty to illegally engaging in the business of dealing in firearms and four counts of possession of firearms and ammunition by a convicted felon.

Henry tried to sell 16 firearms he obtained from other states in Paterson and Passaic County for $8,000. From July to September 2019, Henry was dealing firearms without being a federally licensed importer, licensed manufacturer, or licensed dealer.

On four occasions, Henry sold or attempted to sell a total of 16 firearms, including two semi-automatic rifles, three revolvers, and 11 semi-automatic pistols, as well as over 100 rounds of ammunition, in exchange for over $8,000, authorities said.

Henry bought the firearms and ammos in other states and transported them to New Jersey to sell them.

Henry was also sentenced to three years of supervised release on Thursday.
