Clifton man shot dead in Paterson, authorities say

A man from Clifton was shot dead in Paterson late Monday afternoon, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.
Divan E. Tejeda, 23-year-old, was found lying in the roadway with apparent gunshot wounds in the area of 999 Market Street at around 4:26 p.m.
Medics provided medical aid and Tejeda was taken to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment. He died from his injuries.
