Paterson man wounded in Jefferson Street shooting

A city man was wounded in a shooting on Jefferson Street late Sunday night, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.
The victim, 20, was struck by gunfire on Jefferson and North 2nd streets at around 11:15 p.m. He was taken to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment.
Police continue to investigate the incident. Anyone with information is asked to call the Paterson Police Ceasefire Unit at 973-321-1342.
