Paterson man, woman ran drug production facility out of North 7th Street attic, police say

The police have arrested a man and woman for allegedly running a drug production and distribution facility at their North 7th Street attic apartment, according to public safety director Jerry Speziale.
Xavier Rivera and Yudelka Bruno were arrested on Thursday. Both were charged with possession and distribution of cocaine and maintaining a drug production facility.
Police sized .75 kilograms of powdered cocaine valued on the street at $24,000 and $8,956 cash from the pair.
Rivera and Bruno were using the attic of 155 North 7th Street for their operation. Police received information about Rivera’s activities and conducted an investigation that resulted in the raid on Thursday at 6:43 p.m.
Rivera was outside when police raided the location. He was put under arrest and then his apartment and vehicle, a 2012 Mercedes Benz, were searched.
Rivera and Bruno were taken to headquarters and processed.
