Paterson woman hurt in Broadway shooting

A 41-year-old woman from Paterson, New Jersey, sustained a non-fatal gunshot wound in a shooting incident that occurred in the early hours of Feb. 16, 2023. The Paterson Police Department received a report of a shooting in the area of Broadway and Carroll Street in Paterson, which prompted their response at approximately 2:40 a.m.
Upon arrival, police officers discovered a potential crime scene and located the victim who was immediately taken to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson for treatment.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing, according to Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.
