Saddle Brook man wounded in Paterson shooting

A shooting was reported in Paterson early Thursday morning, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.
Police responded to the area of 9th Avenue and East 24th Street at around 12:29 a.m., following a report of gunfire. Upon arrival, they found an 18-year-old male from Saddle Brook, New Jersey who had been shot.
The victim was rushed to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson for treatment of non-fatal gunshot wounds. The investigation into the incident remains active and ongoing, with more information to be released as it becomes available.
