Paterson man hurt in Lyon Street shooting

At approximately 12:45 p.m. on Monday, the Paterson Police Department received a report of a shooting on River Street and 6th Avenue. Officers were dispatched to the scene, where they found a 47-year-old male Paterson resident who had sustained a non-fatal gunshot wound.
The victim was quickly transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment. An investigation into the incident revealed that the shooting had occurred in the area of Lyon Street and Rosa Parks Boulevard.
The Paterson Police Department is actively investigating the shooting and has yet to release any further details regarding the circumstances surrounding the incident. As of now, the investigation remains ongoing.
