One injured in Paterson shooting incident on 12th Avenue

At approximately 9:04 p.m. on Friday, members of the Paterson Police Department were dispatched to 12th Avenue and William Street on report of shots fired.
Upon arrival, they found a 20-year-old male Paterson resident suffering from a non-fatal gunshot wound.
The victim was provided with immediate aid and was transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment.
The investigation into the incident is still active and ongoing, and authorities have urged anyone with information about the shooting to contact the Paterson Police Ceasefire Unit at 973-321-1342.
