Paterson man hurt in Presidential Boulevard shooting

On Monday, at approximately 10:14 p.m., the Paterson Police Department responded to a report of shots fired in the area of Presidential Boulevard and West Broadway. Upon arrival, officers located a potential crime scene, but no victim was found.
However, a 19-year-old male resident of Paterson arrived at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center shortly after with a non-fatal gunshot wound. He had transported himself to the hospital via private vehicle.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing, and the police have not released any further details.
