1 dead, 1 wounded in Paterson shooting

A man was killed and another wounded in a shooting on Putnam Street on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.
Police said a 19-year-old man, who was shot in the abdomen, died from his injuries. They said a 29-year-old, who was shot in the leg, is in stable condition.
Both victims were shot on Putnam Street and Rosa Parks Boulevard at around 3:18 p.m. Both arrived at Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center seeking treatment after the incident.
