A 13-year-old juvenile was injured in a shooting near Putman Street and Mercer Street in Paterson at approximately 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday, according to police.

Upon arrival, police found the juvenile suffering from a non-fatal gunshot wound. The victim was transported to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment.
