Kearny man injured in early morning Paterson shooting

A man was injured in a shooting at approximately 2:41 a.m. on Monday.
Members of the police were dispatched to the area of Prospect Street and Ellison Street in Paterson after receiving a report of the incident.
The 26-year-old male victim from Kearny arrived at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center via private vehicle for treatment of non-fatal gunshot wounds. Officers at the scene were able to locate a potential crime scene in the area.
