A 35-year-old man was shot in the area of 12th Avenue and Straight Street on Monday, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office. The shooting occurred at approximately 5:26 p.m.

The victim, who is from Paterson, suffered non-fatal gunshot wounds and was transported to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment.

Police have identified a potential crime scene and are investigating the incident.
