Paterson police are investigating a shooting after a victim arrived at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center around 8 a.m. on Friday.

Police said a 23-year-old man from East Orange suffered a non-fatal gunshot wound. Authorities determined the shooting occurred near Market and East 23rd streets.
