A 15-year-old was injured in a shooting in Paterson on Wednesday evening, according to police.

Officers responded to East 37th and 11th Avenue around 8:44 p.m. following reports of gunfire. Police located the teenage victim, who had sustained a non-fatal gunshot wound. The victim was transported to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment.

Authorities identified a possible crime scene and are continuing their investigation.
