Two men were injured in a shooting Friday evening near East 31st Street and 14th Avenue, police said.Authorities responded to the area at about 6:48 p.m. after receiving a report of gunfire. A 19-year-old man and a 20-year-old man, both from Paterson, were taken to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in a private vehicle for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

A potential crime scene was identified at the location. The investigation is ongoing, and police have not announced any suspects.
