A 33-year-old man was injured in a shooting Wednesday night near 10th Avenue and East 26th Street, according to police. Officers responded to the area around 9 p.m. after receiving a report of gunfire.
The victim, a Paterson resident, was found with a non-fatal gunshot wound and was taken to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment.
Investigators located a potential crime scene nearby and are continuing to investigate.
