Police are investigating a shooting that occurred late Friday near Memorial Drive and Main Street. Officers were dispatched to the area around 11 p.m. following reports of gunfire.

A 19-year-old man from Paterson was found at the scene with non-fatal gunshot wounds, police said. He was taken to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment.

Investigators identified a potential crime scene in the area. The investigation remains active, and authorities have not released additional details about a possible suspect or motive.
