A man was wounded in a shooting on New Year’s morning in Paterson and later sought treatment at Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center.

The victim, a 37-year-old man from Paterson, arrived at the hospital at about 3 a.m. with a non-fatal gunshot wound, police said. Details about the location of the shooting and the events leading up to it were not immediately available.
