A 14-year-old was wounded in a shooting Sunday night in Paterson, authorities said.

Police responded at approximately 7:52 p.m. to the area of Ellison Street and Rosa Parks Boulevard, where they found the victim suffering from a non-fatal gunshot wound. The victim was taken to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center.

Officers located a potential crime scene in the area, and the investigation remains ongoing.
