A woman was found fatally shot early Wednesday on 27th Street and 19th Avenue in Paterson, authorities said.

Police responded to reports of shots fired at approximately 3:12 a.m. and discovered the victim with a gunshot wound, officials said. The woman, who has not been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.
