Garfield man fatally shot in Paterson

A man was shot and killed Saturday afternoon in Paterson, according to authorities.
The victim, a 21-year-old from Garfield, was found with multiple gunshot wounds near 12th Avenue and East 24th Street around 5:05 p.m., police said. He was transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
