Man injured in Paterson shooting

A 29-year-old man was injured in a shooting Friday night in Paterson, prompting an investigation by police.
The man, a Paterson resident, arrived at Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center around 9 p.m. with a non-fatal gunshot wound, police said. He was taken to the hospital by private vehicle.
Police determined the shooting took place in the area of Van Houten and Straight streets. A potential crime scene was located in that vicinity, according to investigators.
