A woman was killed and a man injured in a shooting Tuesday evening at East Side Park, authorities said.

Police said they responded to the park around 5:55 p.m. on reports of gunfire. Shortly afterward, a 21-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man arrived at Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center with gunshot wounds. The woman was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The man’s condition was not immediately disclosed. Authorities have not released the identities of either victim.
