Optimum, a provider of fiber internet, mobile, TV and phone services, announced the opening of a new retail store Monday at 202 Main Street in Paterson.

The company said the new state-of-the-art location offers an interactive in-store experience, allowing customers to explore Optimum’s full line of services, including fiber internet, Smart WiFi 6, mobile, TV and home phone. Customers can register for service, shop mobile devices and accessories, pay bills and receive assistance from retail associates.

“I am elated to welcome Optimum’s new retail store to Paterson, which brings a seamless shopping experience for customers in the area,” Paterson Mayor André Sayegh said in a statement. “This store not only provides our residents with access to cutting-edge connectivity solutions but also demonstrates Optimum’s commitment to supporting the local economy in Paterson and across New Jersey.”

Elton Hart, vice president and general manager of Optimum New York Tri-State, said the company aims to strengthen its connection with the community through the new store. “Being an integral part of the community is vital to Optimum, and this store demonstrates our ongoing efforts to engage with and support the residents of Paterson and nearby communities,” Hart said.

Optimum’s 100% Fiber Internet network has been recognized by Ookla Speedtest for delivering New Jersey’s fastest and most reliable internet speeds, as well as the lowest latency and best gaming experience. The service offers multi-gigabit symmetrical speeds of up to 8 Gig, unlimited data, Smart WiFi, and 99.9% network reliability, the company said.

The company’s Optimum Mobile service runs on America’s largest and fastest 5G network and offers plans starting at $15 per month per line. Customers can purchase tablets or bring their own devices to activate on the Optimum Mobile network.

Optimum also offers a video and entertainment service, Optimum Stream, which combines live TV and access to streaming apps through a compact device. Customers can choose from three TV packages: Entertainment TV, Extra TV and Everything TV.

The new Paterson store replaces Optimum’s previous location at 100 Hamilton Plaza. It is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Customers can reach the store by calling 888-467-8468.
