Paterson woman in moving car wounded in Carroll Street shooting

A city woman was wounded in a shooting on Carroll Street on Sunday night, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.
The victim, 37-year-old, was shot in the area of Carroll Street at around 7:30 p.m. She was a passenger in a vehicle that was traveling through the area when the shooting occurred, police said.
Police said the victim arrived at Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center seeking treatment for a gunshot wound. Her injuries are non-fatal, police said.
She is the second victim of gun violence over the weekend. On Friday night, a 19-year-old city man was wounded on 19th Avenue and East 40th Street.
