Dry, sunny stretch ahead for Paterson area with cooler temperatures

paterson-welcome

Paterson and surrounding areas are in for a mostly dry and comfortable week, with a shift toward slightly cooler daytime temperatures and clearer skies after a brief chance of rain early Monday.

A few light showers may pass through late Sunday night into Monday morning, but no meaningful rain is expected through the rest of the week. Patchy fog could develop overnight, especially in low-lying areas, but conditions are expected to improve by midday Monday as skies turn mostly sunny.

Temperatures will start off in the mid-80s on Monday before gradually settling into the upper 70s to low 80s for the remainder of the week. Overnight lows will also trend cooler, dropping into the upper 50s by midweek. Light winds and low humidity will contribute to the overall comfortable conditions.

The stretch of calm, dry weather marks a break from recent unsettled patterns. Mostly sunny skies are forecast each day through Sunday, with only a few clouds at night and no major systems expected to bring rain.

The stable conditions make for a quiet end to August, offering residents a pleasant window for outdoor activities and travel.
