A man was arrested Friday morning in Paterson on an active first-degree criminal warrant related to multiple narcotics offenses, authorities said.

Tieshmere Adams, 23, of Paterson, was taken into custody by the Passaic County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Warrant Squad, with assistance from detectives assigned to the Bureau of Narcotics.

Detectives had developed information indicating that Adams was residing at 158 Lyons Street. After conducting surveillance, authorities observed activity suggesting Adams was inside the residence.

At about 9 a.m., law enforcement entered the apartment and located Adams, who was positively identified and arrested without incident.

The warrant was issued by the Passaic County Superior Court.
