A 46-year-old Paterson man was injured in a shooting Monday morning near Main and Arch streets, police said.

Officers were dispatched to the area around 8:33 a.m. after receiving a report of gunfire. Police located the man with a non-fatal gunshot wound and transported him to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment.

A possible crime scene was identified, and the investigation is ongoing.
