Making a turn from Eagle Avenue on to Main Street is a dangerous driving feat because the left turn is unlike those made at other intersections: Main Street is a busy street, and Eagle Ave happens to be one of those crooked street  from whence making a turn entails more danger than it is worth.

The city council has come to its senses over the danger and will hold a public hearing during its meeting on October 9th, 2012 whether to place a “No Left Turn” sign for particular hours or to leave the street as it is in its present state without a sign.

If approved drivers will be unable to make a turn from Eagle Ave unto Main St. from 7am to 7pm.
