Being what many call a “hyperlocal” news site, we have neglected to cover the state’s senate race between: Republican Joe Kyrillos, a once real estate broker and a former chairman of the New Jersey Republican State Committee and a present New Jersey state senator representing the 13th district; and Bob Menendez, a former mayor of Union City and a former New Jersey State Senator and the incumbent senator from New Jersey in the United States Senate.

Joe Kyrillos is a long time friend of Governer Chris Christie; Bob Menendez is a despised enemy of the governor.

Both men will go head to head tonight at Montclair State University; the debate begins at 8pm and can be watched from our website. Below is a video player which will live stream the entire debate. Tune in at around 8pm.
