The 2nd ward special election which is scheduled for the 6th of November may be cancelled; a judge will have the final say on the matter.

Thomas F. Brogan, the superior court judge, who nullified the victory of Mohammed Akhtaruzzaman is set to make his decision tomorrow, Wednesday, whether to let Mr Akhtaruzzaman  retain his seat as the appeal process goes forward; which would cancel the upcoming 2nd ward election.

There are already 5 candidates including the two belligerent parties waiting to snatch up the vacant seat.
