A 28-year-old man was on the ground with a stab wound near his ribs near the corner of E. 23rd Street and Broadway, reported a local paper. Nearby police officers were informed by a woman who saw the man lifeless on the ground.

Police responded to the scene; the man was taken to hospital for treatment.

Police are still looking for a suspect.
