Victor Diaz who was arrested last week in a barber shop in Paterson and charged with the murder of a Passaic gang member pleaded not guilty in front of a judge in Paterson.

Mr Diaz  and his brother Richard Diaz were responsible for the killing of Luis Castillo, a gang member. All three individuals were gang bangers.

Mr Diaz is on bail for a million dollars; the case has been referred to a grand jury; if convicted he could face deportation and serve life in prison. He is being held at the Passaic County Jail.
