The Paterson School District will be closed for students on: Monday November 5th, 2012. On Tuesday the district will be closed for the presidential election.

However, high ranking staff members are asked to show for work on Monday, the announcement read: “All Principals, Vice-Principals, Directors, Supervisors, Department Chairs and other district-level staff should do their best to safely return on Monday, November 5th.”

Paterson Education Association (PEA) members or teachers are not expected to show on Monday.

The school district plans to open tentatively on Wednesday November 7th, 2012 for students and staffs.
