Pockets of Patersonians are still without power; on Saturday power was restored to some areas of the city. Others are still in the dark. Estimates set forth by Public Service Electric and Gas Company (PSE&G) states 5,000 to 10,00 — last updated November 4th, 2012 –customers are still without power. A customer often means an entire home or family or building not just a single individual.

A representative of the company has said power will be restored soon and that crews are out working on it; she said: “Power will be restored by Tuesday night at the latest.”
