Public School No. 5 which lost a day as a result of electricity outage, after all the other schools had opened following Hurricane Sandy, will be open on Saturday, November 17th, 2012, to make up for that one lost day.

Students and teachers are expected to show for classes. It will not be a full day, but more in line with an early dismissal day. School will start at 8:15am and end at 1pm.
