Students enrolled in Paterson charter schools do no better than those enrolled in traditional public schools finds a new report released by Stanford University. The report reads, “There are no differences in learning gains between charter students [and traditional school students in Paterson]“.

The report assessed all charter schools around New Jersey, and found charter schools located in Newark to be doing extremely well, while the rest were doing no better job at educating students than traditional schools.

Parents in the city should consider the report before enrolling students into charter schools.
