A man went inside a store in Elizabeth, armed with a handgun to pillage it, when one of the employees at the shop screamed he fled.The attempted robbery is reminiscent to what has been happening around Paterson since last year — countless number of stores have been robbed at gunpoint since the beginning of this year.

A bystander jot down the license plate of the vehicle used by the gunman which was later traced to Paterson. Paterson Police arrested a suspect, who is being questioned by Elizabeth Police,  in connection to the robbery.
