Police raided a home on Governor Street during the evening hours of Friday, around 7pm, and arrested a 24-year-old man; along with the arrest, Paterson Police confiscated a handgun and seized 45 glassine bags of heroin ready for distribution.
Jaquawn Housey, 24-year-old, who resides in the lower half of Totowa Avenue, was apprehended by police after a short lived struggle; police charged him with resisting arrest, drug possession, and various other charges.
This was not the first time Mr Housey had to deal with the police; in the past he was convicted of a sexual assault charge, and a pending arrest warrant hung around his neck until yesterday.
