Earlier this month, a man pushed in an window of an Elmwood Park firehouse, and stole a bunch of radios and chargers, according to a story on the Record, a Woodland Park based newspaper.
Richard Izzo, 44-year-old, was arrested after one of the stolen radios transmitted a signal to authorities; it appeared someone pressed a button on the radio, which sent a signal home.
After the burglary which took place on April 11th, Mr Izzo’s finger print was discovered at the scene making him a suspect in the incident.
On Thursday night, Bergen County Sheriff’s Office arrested Mr Izzo, in Paterson, and charged him with theft and burglary.
