On Saturday afternoon a man was stabbed near Broadway and Carroll Street when police responded to the scene they found the victim with several stab wounds and had him transported to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center.
It was around 12:30pm on Saturday when the two man began a physical confrontation that left one severely stabbed. The victim, 36-year-old, suffered a great many stabs but his injuries were nonthreatening.
After stabbing the victim the suspect, Kimate Patton, 31, attempted to flee the crime scene by getting on an NJ Transit bus; however, that was not to be. Paterson Police stopped the bus and arrested Mr Patton charging him with aggravated assault.
