A liquor customer was shot Tuesday night while exiting a shop near Temple Street.

A man, 22-year-old, walked out of a liquor store near Temple and 7th Streets, when a shooter released a bullet behind him. The individual was hospitalized with wounds to the leg and hand.

A local driver saw the man wounded and had him transported to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center. The victim is in stable condition at the hospital.
