An 18-year-old man was shot near Kearney Street on Thursday afternoon after disputing with two other men, according to Paterson Police.
The victim, 18-year-old, was set to meet one of the men near Union Avenue and Kearney Street when he arrived to meet that one fellow there were two individuals waiting for him. After a short discussion, at around 4:15pm the trio got into an argument, at which point one of the suspect pulled out a gun.
After noticing the weapon the victim, in order to preserve his life, made a run for it. The suspect with the gun fired a round, injuring the victim in the left arm.
The wounded man was transported to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center.
