A man was arrested after a chase near Governor Street on Monday who had in his possession a gun and some bags of heroin, according to Paterson Police.
Quadir Cox, the drug dealer, was caught on surveillance in the area of Carroll and Governor Streets on Monday selling narcotics. Police tracked down, but when they attempted to cuff him, he ran. Officers went after him, and after a short chase he was in police custody.
Police found in Mr Cox’s possession a handgun and 47 bags of heroin ready for street distribution. Mr Cox face various charges including possession of an illegal weapon.
