7 arrested in weekend drug sweep by sheriff’s office

Six drug dealers, four of them Paterson residents, were arrested during a weekend narcotic sweep, according to the Passaic County Sheriff’s Office.

Pamela Infanti, 23, of Clifton, was arrested near Broadway and Madison Avenue in Paterson with 28 bags of heroin; 25-year-old Fair Lawn resident of Fair Lawn, was arrested near 10th Avenue in Paterson with 5 bags of heroin.

Shaquan Capron, 20, was caught with 7 bags of marijuana near 12th Avenue and East 23rd Street; Frankie Robinson, 40, was caught near West Broadway and Presidential Boulevard with 13 bags of heroin – Mr Robinson is also wanted in Bergen County for a child support problem; Correy Burden, 37, was caught near Mary Street on a previous warrant; Kenron Boyd, 21, was caught on previous warrant for drug possession; John Carmichael, 48, caught on West Broadway with 48 bags of heroin – all five listed are residents of the city.

The sweep, which took place during the weekend, Saturday and Sunday, yielded 98 bags of heroin and 7 bags of marijuana.

This report was updated on Aug. 29, 2018. Name of one person arrested was removed because charges against him were dismissed.
