A teenager, who was walking with a companion on Temple Street on Sunday morning was wounded in a drive-by shooting, according to Paterson Police Department.

The victim, 17-year-old, was walking on Temple Street with a friend at around 3:30 a.m. on Sunday, when a car with tinted windows passed by releasing a flurry of bullets; the teenager was hit in the left leg.

After wounding the victim, the vehicle sped towards Presidential Boulevard from the aforementioned street.

The teenager was transported to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center where he remains in stable condition.
