Three suspects with a shotgun mugged two individuals on 4th Avenue early Friday morning, according to the Paterson Police Department.

The two victims were in the area of 4th Avenue at 12:08 a.m. on Friday when three suspects, one wielding a shotgun, approached and pointed the weapon at the two victims. The two individuals complied with the suspects’ request and handed over everything they had.

Three suspects, dressed in all black, after taking all the possessions of the victims fled through East 16th Street towards 5th Avenue.

It is unclear whether any of the victims were injured. As more information becomes available we will update this page.
