The city’s public school district will hold two public forums this month to inform residents of progress and future plans.
The first forum will be held today at the International High School on 200 Grand Street at 6 p.m.
The forum hosted by Donnie Evans, superintendent of the district, will show case the district’s annual report, discussing student performance for the past school year.
The superintendent plans to discuss schools’ budget and the district’s infrastructure needs. Translators will be available for those who do not speak English, according to the district.
The second forum is scheduled for Monday, February 24th, 2014 at School 25 located at 287 Trenton Avenue — meeting will start at 6 p.m. and end at 7:30 p.m.
