A city man was wounded in a shooting at an apartment complex on Alois Place during the afternoon hours of Wednesday, according to the Paterson Police Department.
The victim, 21-year-old, was in the playground of the Riverside Housing Complex, when he heard gunshots at around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday. The victim realized he was shot in the hand just after he heard the sound of gunfire, police said.
Police said the victim was transported to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center for treatment. Patrick Murray, head of the Ceasefire Unit, said the victim is in stable condition at the hospital.
